About Us!

We love animals plain and simple! This site was born out of my (the owners!) love for my own animals and a desire to show the kind of work involved in properly caring for pets.

The reason A Play Pal is set up as a "members only" website is to take it a step beyond just providing some pictures and information about my pets (although that is still the main jist of the site!). I wanted the site to be of benefit not only to visitors but also to those organizations dedicated to helping animals. It goes without saying that this takes a little bit of money; not to mention the upkeep and maintenance of the website.

When you become a member of our website a portion of your fee will go to local animal shelters, veterinary offices and other establishments that benefit pets/animals (to find specifics please follow the link to "membership information"

Also, for anyone who happens to live in the Corning, NY vicinity I will soon be offering what I refer to as "Animal Time Share". Animal Time Share is an opportunity, for an hourly rate, to spend time with my animals. Animal Time Share is geared toward such organizations as Elderly/Retirement Homes, Hospice, and Childrens Homes - yet could also be for families and folks who would just like to spend time with animals. All of my pets are well taken care of and Veterinarian Records will be made available. To participate in Animal Time Share an interview with the person or group interested is required. Again, a portion of the proceeds go to website upkeep and organizations that benefit animals.
